Dashboards

Combine workspace data in dashboards with charts, filters, sharing, and custom layouts.

Blue dashboards combine real-time data from multiple workspaces. Use charts and filters to monitor related metrics in one place.

Chart types

Blue supports these chart types:

  • Stat cards show calculated values such as total revenue, active issue count, or completion percentage.
  • Pie charts show how categories contribute to a total, such as revenue by customer type.
  • Bar graphs compare values across categories, such as sales by quarter or inquiries over time. The same chart can also render as a line or area graph.
  • Leaderboards rank groups by their exact values, such as open records by assignee.

Sharing

You can share a dashboard with members of the same organization. Assign each member Editor or Viewer permission.

Dashboards do not support public links for people without a Blue account. External sharing is planned for a future release.

To suggest dashboard improvements, use the Blue community forum or email support@blue.app.

Filters

Filter dashboard data by assignee, tag, date, completion status, or advanced custom field conditions. Blue combines lists and tags that have the same name across workspaces.

Dashboard filters are personal. Blue stores them in your browser for this dashboard.

Calendar presets such as Today and This month update when the calendar period changes. Chart CSV exports use the active dashboard filters and resolve a calendar preset when the export starts.

Cross-Filtering

Select a chart segment to filter all other dashboard charts by that segment. A segment can be a bar, a pie slice, or a leaderboard row.

To add a segment, hold Ctrl or Cmd while you select it. Selections in the same field use OR logic. Selections from different fields apply together.

Arrange and display charts

  • Drag charts to change their position in the dashboard.
  • Select the chart and display options that match the data you need to show.

Duplicate a dashboard

Duplicate a dashboard to create a copy with all its charts. Change the copy when you need a variation of an existing dashboard.

Delete a dashboard

Use the delete action in the dashboard list. The dashboard owner can always delete a dashboard that they created. A shared Editor cannot delete it.

Organization owners and admins can delete any dashboard in the organization. This permission includes dashboards created by other or former members.

Owners and admins can find these dashboards in All organization dashboards, below their own dashboard list. Other roles cannot see this section. Hidden dashboards from former members still count toward the organization’s dashboard limit until an owner or admin deletes them.
