Introduction

Create read-only tables that combine, filter, summarize, share, and export records from multiple workspaces.

Reports combine records from one or more workspaces in an organization-level table. You can choose columns, filter records, sort supported fields, and add numeric summaries.

Use a report when you need record-level rows from several workspaces. For example, combine sales pipelines, active client work, or department budgets.

Open Reports

Select Reports in the organization sidebar. The list includes reports that you own and reports shared with you.

Select a report title to open its table.

All organization reports

Organization owners and administrators see a second list, All organization reports, below their own. It contains the reports created by other members that are not already shown above — including reports left behind by people who have left the organization.

Use it to find and delete work that would otherwise be unreachable. The rows in this list offer delete only; favorite, rename, share, and duplicate are not available there. Open the report to work with it in the normal way.

Compare Reports, Dashboards, and Views

Reports, dashboards, and views present workspace data differently:

  • Views show editable records in one workspace. Use a view for daily record work.
  • Dashboards show charts and statistic cards across workspaces. Use a dashboard for visual summaries.
  • Reports show read-only rows across workspaces. Use a report to review, filter, summarize, share, or export the underlying records.

Merge Matching Custom Fields

Blue merges custom fields that have the same name and type into one report column. For example, Number fields named Budget appear in one Budget column.

Fields with different names or types remain separate.

Report Tasks

Open Source Records

Report cells are read-only. Select a record title to open the source record. Right-click a row to open the record in a new tab or copy a cell value.
