Introduction
Learn how workspaces organize users and data, and review the available workspace settings.
How Workspaces Work
Workspaces organize related users and data in Blue. Each workspace is self-contained. Only invited users can view its data and collaborate.
The organization’s tier and plan set its workspace limit. Current base tiers allow 5 to 100 workspaces. Pro multiplies that tier limit by five, and Enterprise has no workspace limit. You can use a workspace for either a project or an ongoing process:
- Project: Organize work with defined goals and an end date, such as an event launch, rebrand, or website design. You can archive the workspace when the project ends.
- Process: Organize continuous work without an end date, such as customer service, helpdesk operations, sales tracking, or recruitment.
Workspace Settings
Workspace Owners and Project Administrators can open Settings from the workspace navigation bar. The settings page contains these sections:
- General: Change the workspace name, URL slug, description, or image. You can also archive, convert to a template, or delete the workspace.
- Features: Turn workspace features on or off and reorder the navigation tabs.
- Fields: Manage the workspace’s custom fields.
- Records: Configure record terminology (rename records to Tasks, Tickets, etc.) and set up record naming formulas.
- Card Interface: Configure record cards in the board view.
- Copy: Copy the workspace and select the components to include.
- Import & Export: Import and export records from the workspace.
- PDF Templates: Create and manage PDF templates for records.
- OAuth Connections: Connect your workspace to external services such as GitHub or QuickBooks.
