Archiving Workspaces

Archive a completed workspace to make it read-only, or unarchive it to restore write access.

Archiving preserves a completed workspace while removing it from the main Workspaces area. Workspace Owners and Project Administrators can archive or unarchive a workspace.

Archive a Workspace

  1. Open Workspace Settings > General.
  2. Select Archive.
  3. Select Archive in the confirmation dialog. Blue moves the workspace to Archived Workspaces in the sidebar.

An archived workspace has these restrictions:

  • Blue shows Archived next to the workspace name in the top bar.
  • All users can view the workspace, but they cannot add or change its contents.
  • API read operations continue to work, but API write operations fail.

Unarchive a Workspace

  1. Open Workspace Settings > General for the archived workspace.
  2. Select Unarchive. Blue returns the workspace to the main Workspaces area and enables write operations.
