URL / Link

Store one validated web address per field and display it as text or a custom button.

The URL / Link field stores one web address per record. Blue validates the address before it saves the value.

If you enter an address without a protocol, such as example.com, Blue adds https://.

In the default display, point to the saved value to show the Copy and Open link actions. Open link opens the address in a new browser tab.

Display The URL As A Button

The field supports two display options:

  • Text link: This default option displays the URL and shows copy and open actions when you point to it.
  • Button: Select Display as button to show a colored button instead of the URL text.

When you select Display as button, configure these settings:

  • Button Label sets the text on the button. If empty, Blue uses Open Link.
  • Button Color sets the button color.

Select the button to open the saved address in a new browser tab.
